Remove duplicate contacts in BlackBerry

I was helping someone to remove duplicate contacts in his BlackBerry device and here is I did it without deleting the duplicate contacts one by one.

• Make a backup just in case something goes wrong.
• On the BlackBerry device having duplicate contacts, open up Contacts.
• From the menu, choose Options.
• On the Contacts Options screen, type rset.
• You will a prompt saying “This will erase your Desktop contact list, and reload it from your server.  Continue?”.
• Select Yes to wipe out the contact list and reload it from the server.

Note: it might take a few minutes for the reload to complete.
