My colleagues from India were having problem trying to RDP into some Citrix servers. When they tried to RDP into those servers, they received a message “Remote logins are currently disabled” with only an OK button.
Clicking on the OK button will terminate the session.
What happened was that those Citrix servers were scheduled to reboot daily. Logon was disabled X minutes before the reboot takes place. After the reboot, logon should be re-enabled back. However, it did not re-enable back the logon this time round.
The solution is to execute “change logon /enable” at the command prompt of the affected servers.
They will check on the servers again after the next schedule reboot to determine whether is this an isolated case.
